Bayern have lost once in two months (to Dortmund). They are hitting their stride and while Liverpool are playing like 15 matches over the break, they're relaxing and smashing amateur teams in friendlies.

You're a lot more confident than I am - they are absolutely going to be a challenge.

To be fair, It's more that I have faith that Klopp will just masterclass Kovac tactically.

Yeah it’s hard to predict now with the matches so far away but I’d still favor Liverpool over Bayern.

Hummels/Boateng/Sule struggle vs pacy attacking fronts and Liverpool has the best attacking trio on the planet.

IMO it’s the two English club’s tournament to lose.

That was one that I saw and thought "well, the narrative is going to be how the high-flying Liverpool will smash this disappointing Bayern side who can't even lead their domestic league" but that's definitely the English media not realizing what's happening on the continent perspective.

It was one of the matchups that had me really excited. City will take care of Schalke, I think Dortmund will take care of Spurs, but Bayern v Liverpool...not sure.

As much as I don’t like Barca, you have to include them.

Messi is on insane form this season, 20 goals 9 asssists and he was injured for a month and a half.

As long as he plays like this they are a major threat to win it.

Oh no doubt...I think they’re third favorites. They’re going to need Suarez to get his act together in the UCL though but by then Umtiti should be back healthy.

Listen, we all know Spurs can take care of them when the time comes.

It's entirely possible Ronaldo will be out of the tournament before Real Madrid which I would never have bet on a month ago.

Ronaldo does love to score against Atletico though

As of now: three days before the first match with Ajax they play Atletico. Two days before the second match with Ajax they play Barcelona.

I'm not saying Ajax are advancing—but it's not as straight-forward as it looks on paper.

                            It’s going to be magnificent.

Verratti and Fellaini is another potential ****house special, but we'll see if Man U's new manager ever plays Fellaini.

So what did everyone think of TNT/BR Live?

Personally, I hated it. No reason why any of the matches shouldn’t have been able to have been casted via chromecast or something similar. I’d rather watch games in my 50 inch compared to a laptop.
