Re: 2020-2021 English Football Thread
The way NBC was promoting it was hilarious.
“David Moyes’ West Ham against Steve Bruce’s Newcastle!”
Saying the managers didn’t really pump me up like they hoped it would.Comment

Re: 2020-2021 English Football Thread
In fairness to Bret (ImTel...) they've only lost like 4 matches in 2 years in the League with 2/3 of 'em being after the restart.
I'd be hella confident too considering it's the same group of players.
Hell of a debut for Leeds record signing lol.Comment

Re: 2020-2021 English Football Thread
There’s a difference between finding a way to win and your opposition finding a way to lose, but whatever.
What’s interesting about Liverpool this year is that it’s the same players. The same players who have heard the same from Klopp for years, who have now won the trophies they wanted to win, and who never really had a break after winning the league.
Klopp’s message resonating with the same squad after they’ve reached the peak is what will be interesting.Comment

West Ham never really looked like scoring. Next 6 matches look daunting for them.

All teams were required to have 4 weeks off before the season started. They were in Europe very late into their comps.Comment

I would just save Moyes the extra mortgage/rent payment and just fire him now [emoji2375]
