Re: 2020-2021 English Football Thread
Had he still been a PL player, top of my list would be Adam Smith. Dirty, friggin player.Comment

Last one felt like a foul on Fabianski, hard to tell because NBC didn’t show any good angles.
At the same time though, West Ham can suck it.Comment

Re: 2020-2021 English Football Thread
I think top 3 for me would be Barnes, Robertson and Mark Noble, not in any particular order.
Also very close is Alioski, Harry Kane, Son, Lo Celso. Tbh half the Spurs team falls under this category.Comment

Re: 2020-2021 English Football Thread
On a lighter note, something I've thought about asking for a few weeks is who is everyone's favorite players to watch on the other nineteen teams in the league they don't support (if there is anyone). I think we did something like this before, but it was interesting for me to think of someone from each team instead of a collection of players in general. Here's mine, and why for some of them.
Spoiler
Aston Villa: Grealish
Yes, stupid hair, but the way he moves with the ball at his feet is amazing. Always quick and always looking to cause danger.
Brighton: March
Burnley: Nobody
Chelsea: Werner
His insane ability to be running at full-speed immediately after receiving the ball is both fascinating and terrifying. Plus, he's German.
Crystal Palace: Zaha
Everton: Doucoure
The type of player that I wish Arsenal had in their midfield for years. Strong in defense but skilled enough to go box-to-box.
Fulham: Mitrovic
It's fun watching a tank roam around a football pitch.
Leeds: Harrison
Yes, he's on my fantasy team, but his story of being in the Man United academy, moving to the US and making his way back to England is great.
Leicester City: Vardy
He's a prick, but my goodness he's fun to watch.
Liverpool: Mane
When you think he's running his fastest, he starts running faster.
Manchester City: De Bruyne
This whipped balls from out wide—my goodness.
Manchester United: Wan Bissaka
Watching him stifle players is entertaining.
Newcastle: Saint Maximin
Sheffield United: McGoldrick
Southampton: Walcott
It's fun seeing him regain form.
Tottenham: Alderweireld
His diagonal passes from deep are insane.
West Brom: Pereira
Only learned of him this season, but he makes a lot happen (if anything happens for West Brom).
West Ham: Antonio
Runs at you, keeps running at you, always runs at you.
Wolves: TraoreLast edited by Krebstar; 12-22-2020, 09:51 AM.Comment

Definitely on board with Vardy, Pereira, and Antonio. One of my friends is a WBA STH, so I hear about them a lot, and have gotten a lot of access to their games while in the Championship last season, but Pereira is one of those players they will definitely have a hard time keeping hold of.Support Local Sports
