He does seem destined to be grabbed by a mid to upper-mid table side whether or not WBA are relegated. I'm interested to see how Big Sam uses him now that he's back from suspension.

Arsenal: Leno quietly keeps Arsenal in a lot of games. Great shot stopper.

      Aston Villa: None

Brighton: Lallana obviously, though I haven't really watched much of them this year

      Burnley: Hard pass

      Chelsea: Reluctantly Pulisic

Crystal Palace: Zaha at times, but his attitude seems to be getting worse the longer he has stayed at Palace. It's very weird that he hasn't had a move to a bigger club.

Everton: I will always have a soft spot for Gylfi because of Football Manager actually. I wish he would have come to Liverpool when that was a hot rumor. He has lost a couple steps, but can still put in a dangerous long shot. The rest of these dirty hacks can go **** themselves.

Fulham: Lookman is a bright spot for them.

Leeds: Raphinha. Really impressed with his skill with both feet.

      Leicester City: None

Liverpool: I'm going to do my own team, fight me! Jota makes extremely intelligent runs all the time, is good with both feet, can play any of the three forward positions in the system, and can finish. There is very little wasted movement with this guy. Hope he stays for a long time.

Manchester City: De Bruyne. Come to Liverpool, lifelong Reds supporter!

      Manchester United: LOLno

Newcastle: I'd like to see what Almiron could do with better players around. Would be really good on a high pressing team.

      Sheffield United: None

Southampton: Romeu has quietly been one of the best holding midfielders in the league for several years.

      Tottenham: Son

West Brom: This team is slow as hell and has no redeeming qualities.

      West Ham: None

      Wolves: None

Here's to hoping there aren't any dumb injuries in these matches for the teams involved. I forgot what it was like to not play in midweek. Since pretty much all healthy starters for Liverpool played in the international breaks, this is the first midweek off since between Leeds and Chelsea the first two weeks of the season. Ridiculous.

          Arsenal: Bukayo Saka

          Aston Villa: John McGinn

Brighton: Tariq Lamptey (Can't believe how cheap they got him)

Burnley: Dwight McNeil (Surprised he's still there)

          Chelsea: N'Golo Kante

          Crystal Palace: Eberechi Eze

          Everton: Lucas Digne

Fulham: Antonee Robinson (Impressed me against Liverpool)

Leeds: Stuart Dalls (Leeds version of James Milner. Will play anywhere)

          Leicester City: Harvey Barnes

          Liverpool: Sadio Mane

Manchester City: Kevin De Bruyne (His passing is ridiculous)

Manchester United: If I have to pick one, I would say Mason Greenwood. Great with both feet.

Newcastle: Allan Saint-Maximin (Injuries and Covid have not helped him this season).

Sheffield United: George Baldock. (Tireless worker. Lots of times he's the furthest player up field).

Southampton: Oriol Romeu. Just steadies the ship.

          Tottenham: Son Heung-Min

West Brom: Conor Gallagher. Chelsea have a good one there.

          West Ham: Michail Antonio

          Wolves: Pedro Neto

            Re: 2020-2021 English Football Thread

Arsenal: Saka - kind of reminds me of Liverpool-era Sterling where he’s clearly one of the best players there and will have to win them points alone.

Aston Villa: Watkins - feel like Grealish would be the obvious choice but I have a soft spot for Watkins despite that hat trick earlier this season.

Brighton: Dunk - hard to pick so I just went with the guy who always scores for us. Interested to see Bissouma in a better team.

Burnley: Tarkowski - way too good and way too positive for a team like Burnley.

Chelsea: Giroud - he’s very very good.

Crystal Palace: Benteke - I think his lack of goals has given him this Heskey-esque reputation but I think his contributions to the team are huge. I think he’s just a magnet for defenders and he occupies them.

Everton: Digne - another hard pick I don’t really enjoy any of them.

Fulham: Lookman - I think from his debut for Everton and the FA cup game in 2018 where he turned the game upside down I’ve always been impressed, close run with Cairney.

Leeds: Poveda - not seen a whole lot of him but he looks direct and tricky.

Leicester: Barnes - I remember seeing him at first when he’d been on loan at WBA and he was terrible, he’s come on a lot since though and impresses me most games.

City: De Bruyne - perfect player. Can go missing in big games but he’s the driving force behind one of the best teams in the world. If he doesn’t play well, City don’t.

United: Martial - better than he’s ever given credit for given how often he’s pushed out wide when he should be through the middle.

Newcastle: Joelinton - similar to Benteke, I think Newcastle made a mistake signing him as a 9 though, he was never that for Hoffenheim.

Sheffield United: Lundstram - another one I really don’t really care for. Him or McGoldrick really.

Southampton: Vestergaard - I think if the ground started collapsing beneath him he’d stroll to a safe spot, he’s so composed.

Spurs: Lo Celso - big fan of him at Betis, think he needs to be pushed further forward to flourish but he’s very good.

WBA: Diangana - pretty much the only player for them I would choose to watch.

West Ham: Antonio - he’s old school with a mixture of the new. Crazy versatile.

Wolves: Neto - again, I’m not high on Wolves at all but he’s a good player.

I really cant say there are a ton of players I specifically like on other teams but there are a few that do come to mind if we are limiting to one per team. Specific note that not only do I not like anyone on Liverpool, but I hope every member gets a severe case of Hemorrhoids lol

Arsenal - Aubameyang. He could play for my team any day.

Chelsea - Pulisic ( dives a bit too much but he's our great hope so yeah).

              Everton - Digne. Consistent. Steady.

Leeds - Meslier. Consdering how much they leave him out to dry, I've come off impressed.

Leicester - Vardy. Hate to like him but he is the ultimate villian and he just flat our performs.

Man City - De Bruyne. Absolute class.

Tottenham - Son. To me easily the most underrated player in Europe and is everything right with football.

              West Ham - Antonio. Workhorse.

LOL, this is perfect. Never want to wish injury on players, but an incredibly annoying condition is fair game. I hope United players all contract a rampant case of athlete's foot.

                    Arsenal: David Luiz lol

Aston Villa: Grealish. Probably the best non Big 6 (I'm including Leicester and taking out Arsenal) player the league has had since Payet.

Brighton: Lamptey - Wish we could have kept him but he was buried at RB and wanted to play. Can't blame the kid.

                    Burnley: No one

Crystal Palace: Townsend - Love his left foot and I'm still shocked that he can grow hair.

                    Everton: Uncle Carlo

Fulham: Lookman or Mitro. I like throwback CFs and Lookman has always been impressive

Leeds: Rodrigo - Liked him at Valencia

Leicester: Justin - I love guys like him are versatile and can slot in at multiple positions. Leicester have a great problem on their hand when Ricardo comes back

Man City - either KDB or Kyle Walker. Walker's been cleaning up messes for City for years now. Doesn't get the credit he deserves.

United: Rashford - Absolutely love his off the field stuff. For that alone I'm a fan.

Newcastle: Jon Jon - He's just pure entertainment. Can hit a 30 yarder and then get sent off as soon play restarts.

                    Sheffield United: pass

Southampton: Champions League winner Ryan Bertrand.

                    Spurs: Son or Dembele

West Ham: Antonio - absolutely destroys us when he's fit

Wolves: Podence - reminds me a lot of Eden in how he moves. Would probably get more credit if Wolves were competent going forward.

Arsenal: Mustafi, reasons should be obvious.

Aston Villa: Grealish. My wife pointed out we almost always like the short shin pads guys.

                      Brighton: Don't even watch them.

Burnley: Don't watch Burnley either, but obviously they can suck it.

Crystal Palace: Zaha, we call him the Disney Prince because my daughter a while back commented that he looks like he would be a Disney prince in a cartoon.

Everton: DCL. Great finisher and complete ****-stirrer.

Fulham: Assuming I'm not allowed to say RLC, Mitrovic because he's hilarious.

Leeds: Bamford, for similar reasons to DCL actually. His ****-stirring is more subtle and nuanced.

Leicester City: Vardy, but we (my wife and daughter) kind of love Schmeichel. Also my wife is a goalkeeper so maybe more prone to liking keepers because of that.

Liverpool: If I wasn't blinded by petty dislike, maybe Wijnaldum.

Manchester City: De Bruyne, kind of an easy one.

Manchester United: Maguire, for the same reasons as Mustafi.

Newcastle: Shelvey because he can be very entertaining in multiple different ways in the same match.

                      Sheffield United: Definitely not McGoldrick

Southampton: Champions League winner Ryan "Oh I thought my keys were in my pocket but it's just Robben" Bertrand.

                      Tottenham: Ahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahaha.

West Brom: Gallagher, I'm counting it.

West Ham: Antonio, he reminds me of Micah Richards, who I also loved. Just genuinely great guys who look like they are actually having fun out there.

Wolves: Traore probably, though that Neto kid is gonna be a monster I think.

If you're ever disappointed with what you receive this Christmas, just remember, somewhere, someone is unwrapping a Tottenham shirt.

That's a good result for Chelsea who will now surely move up the table after dropping a 0-3 on Arsenal today.
