I mean he wasn’t even looking at the ball. But I guess that’s the rule?

      Terrible rule. Terrible decision.

      Lovely result.

What makes it worse for Spurs is that they should have easily been up about 4-0 by the end of that.

It as much as the handball (because it's going to happen a lot) is the story of the match.

3.19 xG for Spurs, 0.94 for Newcastle.

23 shots for Spurs with 12 on target. 6 shots for Newcastle with 1 on target.

Steve Bruce just basically said that the managers need to go to the League and tell them that there needs to be some common sense allowed in these decisions. He’s exactly right. How it was governed last season was just fine. Why fix what isn’t broke?

No one is saving that! And with his weaker right foot.

Have you met IFAB or PL guys? They are the agents of chaos.

Roy Hodgson was preaching the same. Why does handball have to be so difficult? If it is deliberately done it is a penalty if it is struck without any intent, no penalty.

Yeah. Wow. I thought it was headed to row Z.

                    Incredible.

The problem is that last year the league was not consistent with IFAB rules and this year they’ve been told they need to be (and the handball rules have changed from last year).

So it’s unlikely they’ll go back to being a renegade league, no matter how much managers complain, even collectively.

Leicester are slowly getting more time on the ball, but if they don’t act decisively City’s organization slowly pushes them back into their own third and it just resets.

Of course, a RedBull fueled Vardy could spring into life at any moment.

Yeah plenty of space for Castagne. Mendy is going to get caught if he isn't careful.

If Vardy doesn’t go down there, if most likely isn’t called a penalty, even though it clearly was a penalty.

Just another thing wrong with the game.
