Simon sucks. Been out of position multiple times and on the goal he can’t even get out from under his feet when Chiesa’s body position screamed curler.

Yeah, I have never been a fan a Unai Simon I watched quite of bit a La Liga this past season and on multiple occasions it appears he doesn't like to dive to his left. He seems like he always puts himself in weird positions to possibly even avoid it. Also feel like there were better options at the GK spot for Spain at the Euros. Cant believe they didn't bring Alex Remiro for Sociedad who was great this year and even Sergio Herrera at Osasuna had a breakout year.

Penalties should not be treated as any other set piece. Keeper saves? Ball should be dead and a goal kick awarded.

Isn't there a rule where the taker can not be the first to touch it after it saved? Or that league play only?


EDIT: Only if it hits the woodwork. Keeper saving it counts as another player. Too many rules to remember.

It can not be touched again until another player touches it. So, once the keeper touches it, the taker can then again touch it.

I know that a penalty is awarded to right a wrong, and to bring justice, but if you miss the penalty, that's it—that was your chance. The fact that rebounds are allowed is so stupid.

I'd be saying this if Saka scored it, by the way, although I admit I dearly want to see England embarrassed.
