It was, but it should never have gotten to a point where a one goal lead was all they could muster from a team like boro.

I'm fully aware how the situations are not identical, including available public evidence, but considering that Ronaldo is celebrated on a weekly basis and used as the face of a global marketing juggernaut, I'd say not a ****ing thing has changed or will change for some time.

If anyone hasn't read about the questionnaire his lawyers went through with him and think it's merely false accusations, you should read about it.

Didn’t Southgate leave him out of a squad due to personal issues he was having with United?

I’m pretty confident United have known about this for a long time and only acted once it became public and it’s not a shot at them because I’m long past the point of expecting sports teams to have a moral compass. Kobe Bryant had a long and celebrated career. Different era, maybe, but Kobe’s career should’ve ended after a few years in the league.

As long as they can make money from Ronaldo they won’t act, unless an actual arrest is made (it won’t).

I’m pretty confident United have known about this for a long time and only acted once it became public and it’s not a shot at them because I’m long past the point of expecting sports teams to have a moral compass. Greenwood was sent home from one of the international breaks along with Phil Foden for breaking Covid protocols. They snuck a couple women into the hotel.

So he was already in the doghouse, but it is certainly possible at least something was known.
