According to the Athletic article i was reading they want to bring in 4 to 6 players in the window. So an entire new backline, someone in mid field and probably another striker.

If common sense were a thing they’d postpone both semis and make them a single match, but…we know common sense won’t make an appearance.

I wouldn’t even be mad if it was held at the Emirates since it’s our problem.

They are also strongly linked with Lucas Digne along with Chelsea and West Ham. 2 new fullbacks would be a good start for Newcastle for sure.

Arsenal/Liverpool postponed. Most likely because the match was to generate some money for the EFL, so a forfeit was out of the question.

Even though Leyton Orient had to forfeit their match against Spurs, so there was a precedent for that.

The rules have changed since that forfeit, which was in September of 2020.

Did not know that thank you.

The fact that this semi final is two legs is ridiculous and I think we can all agree on that.

I honestly wasn't sure if they were following the same guidelines as the PL either, but it appears they are.

The two-leg semifinal is asinine in normal times. To go back to it now when last year they did one leg and pushed the final back is even worse.

Think Alonso genuinely dislikes Tottenham specifically.

Can’t remember the last time I saw him run that fast.

When the cops arrived at the scene, probably.

The FA has come out and said this weekends FA games must go on no matter what injuries/COVID positives pop up.

City just announced they have 7 first team positive cases and 14 other staff members including Pep.

That’s incredibly silly but par for the course with the FA.

Wayyyyy more logistics involved with this many teams still in the competition. Third Round vs. Semi finals.

I actually get it and understand if Liverpool have to forfeit.

Different sets of rules for each governing body too (FA vs EFL). It would be nice if they were on the same page but that’s probably expecting too much.

                              1. Well done, Cambridge United.
                              2. It's nice to see extra-time instead of replays (Swansea v Southampton).

Why are Arsenal wearing blank white kits? You can’t even read the numbers.
