I thought he was really just caught in no man's land there. Too far away to do anything to Reguilon, too far away to catch Son's run. Gotta figure that assignment out.

I'd rather see Arsenal play better in the second half, but what counts is how well they played in the first. They didn't need to do much in the second half, and it would've been nice to see more, but the game was won after 45 minutes.

I was not surprised to see a goal eventually come from that side in this game also crazy save from Ramsdale.

Silly Arsenal spending that kind of money on a backup keeper to sit on the bench.

Both Ronaldo and Pogba on bench for United?

            Interesting.

Even more interesting to me is Sancho. Southgate recently said he’s not adapting to the Premier League but it’s hard to adapt when you’re not getting enough minutes.

Spent years chasing him only to be entirely unsure of what to do with him once you have him, and once you get another toy after him unexpectedly.

Rafa doing Rafa things at Everton. Unimaginative but gets the job done.

No booking on Pogba for this—amazing:

But not surprising—he's been doing **** like this when frustrated for years:

I'd love to see Newcastle with a proper owner and for that insanely well supported club to not again be looking at relegation.

Hoping for a VARless, and red cardless Liverpool v City match.

Bernardo Silva weaving through all the Liverpool players. He is one of the players of the season so far for me.

I can think of like five occasions now over the past few years where Foden got punished for trying to play on and not going down.

Foden punished for the classic not leaping forward into the air like a fish but for instead trying to stay on his feet and losing his balance.

Right now I'd put Cancelo above him. He's not only the oil in City's engine, he's also the fuel.
