Could have easily been 6 or 7 today, all in the 2nd half too.

Watched that Brighton & Leicester game and Cucurella was so good that match and I feel like is going to really help elevate the Brighton Squad. Been a fan of him since he broke on the scene at Eibar and always admired his game. I am actually shocked that Arsenal didn't go for him but it is what it is. I was low-key Brighton fan last season and him being on the team gives me even more reason to watch their games.

I actually thought Nuno was pretty good tactically vs us. By far the best gameplan we've faced this year. They pressed us high and didn't allow Jorginho to run the game. They attacked us out wide with Dele and Ndombele drifting wider to create overloads so Son could make runs in behind in the half space BUT they lacked the personnel to make it balanced (aka Lo Celso playing wide right) and the fitness (Ndombele) to keep up past the hour mark.

Tuchel made his change to the 3-5-2 before the half despite instead of after when Kante came on it's just that Kante is an elite box-to-box whereas Mount isn't. To me the difference was just quality. We had/have a full squad minus Pulisic and brought on Kante and Werner where as Spurs brought on Skipp and Bryan Gil, two guys that are 21 & 20.

I don't think Nuno got anything wrong. His team was just outclassed.

Is not using your squad or players effectively, even if they’re outclassed, getting something wrong?

My comment regarding him was not solely focused on Sunday’s match, but again pointing out how terrible of a fit I think he’ll be at Spurs. Remove the lucky win over City (yeah I said it) and I think there would rightly be more concern on how it will end there.

I think he uses his players effectively, he just doesn't have enough of them healthy/fit right now to be truly effective. He literally only had 1 winger available which threw off the balance vs us and his best player looks like he fell off a cliff.

Now I agree he was a strange hire for a club that wants to get back to their "attacking" mentality which is laughable to me because they act like they were stacking trophies with their "traditional" approach.

I actually think the NLD is going to be good in the sense that both sides are sort of at an early season crossroads.

I've said it before, Raphinha will only be a Leeds player for a short time. He is so good!

All credit due to City. We didn’t match their intensity and they pressed us out of the match. Deserved win.

Only real positives for us was that it took a deflected goal and RLC looks to have found a spot again.
