I’m so excited about RLC playing well again that I’m barely mad about the result lmao.

Take your seats boys, the RLC Hype Train is back in operation and will be leaving the station shortly.

I didn’t even realize RLC was at Chelsea. I assumed he was on loan.

Brighton can go top of the league if they can beat Palace on Monday.

How can you not love Brentford?

Came to the league as 'right' as you possibly can. Their owner is wealthy, but he grew up supporting the club. They use a 'B Team' model instead of an academy, and in the coming years more clubs will start doing the same as currently bigger clubs are allowed to prey on the youth products of smaller clubs, so they did something that worked for them.

So glad to have them in the top-flight.

Jonathan Wilson in The Guardian, as usual, smashing it.

“If Kane starts scoring in the league again, Levy’s intransigence over his sale to City may seem vindicated, but there is also a danger that keeping him is the equivalent of Arsenal offering Mesut Özil or Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang an expensive extended contract: a club uncomfortable about how others view them clinging on to the star who offers status rather than having the confidence to find replacements still on the way up.”

Arsenal’s struggles offer Spurs grim warning of their own mediocre future
Tottenham are playing mid-table football in a shiny new stadium and failing to bridge the gulf to the rich elite – just like their north London derby rivals Arsenal
