I’m taking that point as well. Wait to loan AMN out until the end of the month until after AFCON. It’s not like AFCON snuck up on everyone.

Our front 3 have been so poor so far. So many opportunities squandered because of poor release passes. Rom should have buried the 1v1 too smh

Surprised Mount didn't start. Just a rotation thing or was he carrying a knock?

A little rotation since he played midweek which is why him, CHO , and Timo didn’t play from the start but the gameplan wasn’t bad side from maybe having Kai up top instead of Rom. Just poor from the attackers and without our starting WBs we have to get the final ball right to best a team like City away altho the Etihad is [emoji1005]. You could hear all the Chelsea chants throughout the match.

Also, such a load of BS about the NLD derby gets cancelled because Odeegard gets Covid. I’m not upset at Arsenal so don’t jump down my throat Kreb, just the inconsistency of the FA that made us play with more Covid cases and injuries on short weeks vs Wolves snd Everton.

As a neutral since I hate both I was looking forward to just watching.

Just saw the ref in the Wolves/Southampton match actually went to the pitch side monitor.

The issue is when they do go, it's a 99% chance a decision is being changed.

The Premier League is only interested in VAR as a spectacle and as a form of entertainment to keep their league at the top of the viewing charts. If more decisions are correct, that's a secondary goal—they just want the manufactured drama.

Lascelles again weak as piss in the box. He needs replacing in that side big time.

Rafa Benitez must be on his last legs surely. 9 losses in the last 12.

Selling Digne to Villa a week before Rafa gets sacked because they don’t get along seems pretty smart now.

Seems like he’s gone—absolute joke of a club. Brands was never given full control and his vision never seemed to be taken seriously. When he wanted to hire a young manager, the club blew their load over Ancelotti, who (big surprise) did **** all there.

He then, of course, leaves, after Rafa seemingly takes control of transfers.

Remember when 7th was called the Everton Cup? Yeah, they’re a long ways from that self-appointed best team outside of the big six clubs—16/17 was their last finish in 7th.

I actually hope this is the start of a real struggle spell for Man Yoo because you’ll learn a hell of a lot more with matches like that than you’ll ever learn from a 4 nil thrashing.
