And yes we know you hate international footy Kreb. We all hate these pointless breaks.
That would be an Edu masterclass, good sir.

For the record, I'm very apathetic the World Cup, Euros, all of it—not just the breaks or the Nations League. It's not that I dislike the breaks but then take in the international football when it's time. Nope, have very, very little interest.

I wonder if Edu called in a favor considering he worked with Tite. Those 3 are in incredible form right now.

Not complaining though. The fixture list is not kind for at the moment.

No matter what happens with the league overall for this weekend's matches, Chelsea-Liverpool is likely to be postponed due to a lack of adequate police available.

EDIT: Statement released. There are three postponed matches this weekend - Chelsea/Liverpool, Man U/ Leeds, and Brighton/Palace. All other matches will proceed as scheduled.

In an already-condensed season, these six clubs will not play another league match in the month of September. Absurd.

I guess our home UCL match will be proceed on Wednesday which is odd considering that Arsenal’s Europa League game has been called off. I guess they will have enough security that day.

What a cluster**** but it does give us time with Potter and for folks to heal up [emoji2375]

I love seeing these Brits freak out over Boehly’s all-star game idea to help generate money to save the football pyramid.

As if testimonials and charity matches don’t already exist and anyone else has an idea to help save the lower divisions.

Which are mostly made up of retired and bench players.

I don't want to watch top players from Liverpool team up with anyone from United, City, and/or Everton. That's a hard pass. Remember the Gomez/Sterling **** from the England team? That's a necessary evil, this isn't.

EDIT: However, the hand-wringing takes from the likes of Gary Neville are hilarious though. Talking about things like Americans attempting to destroy the fabric of the game. Sir, you have clubs essentially owned by other ACTUAL SOVEREIGN NATIONS. Get out of here.

Speaking of adding more matches, the FA looks like it's going to have replays in the 3rd and 4th rounds again this season after they've been scrapped the past couple of years.

Well Joe Gomez doesn’t have to worry about ever being picked for an all star game lol.

In all seriousness though, I don’t mind seeing Chelsea players with Arsenal/Spurs guys. These guys don’t hate each other like we think they do.

I’m all for getting the Premier League money going down the pyramid.

Don’t ask me how that can be accomplished though, Im not a smart man.

I still think Premier League teams should be exempt from the Carabao Cup. Leave this competition to everyone else. For winning the trophy you get £100,000 prize money with the runners-up receiving £50,000. A lot of PL players weekly wages are more than that! But that type of money would go a lot further to a Championship, League 1 or 2 team should they win.

It would also help with the fixture congestion. Most PL teams never take the competition seriously anyway. Only field their 1st team squads when they get closer to the final.

I know some will say this competition will allow younger talent to get minutes but with the PL reverting to 9 subs, most squads are filling out the bench with youth nowadays anyway.

If a new European owner in the US asked why there isn't promotion and relegation, I expect and am more than fine with them being ridiculed mercilessly, just as Todd is for his idiotic suggestion.

Stop trying to export your **** fueled by American exceptionalism, Todd—nobody wants it.

All-star games in America are mostly irrelevant to the point that they have to change formats constantly, so yeah great idea to share that with the world lol. If this would be anything like testimonial/charity matches, it would be the equivalent of celebrity softball vs actual baseball. They could do it, but nobody would care.

All-Star Games are the reason I don't understand advertising/marketing. They keep changing it so it'll be more appealing for the fans at home to watch, and yet, sponsors and the people who put money into the sport want to be in on the All-Star Game more than any other non-Championship marketing opportunity.

I would be "for" an All-Star Game on the grounds it was completely optional and they had to deal with whatever players said they wanted to be a "Premier League All-Star" and all the all of the money would have to go to Grassroots football. Since those things will never happen, I will never be "for" an All-Star Game.
