They have at least one more absolute stinker left in the tank, I'm sure, and people will wonder how they went from 7-0 to that. Aging legs, complacency regarding lack of positional competition, etc.

Half the team was injured for a couple months too which never helps

Gary Neville having a postgame meltdown and making absolutely no sense has been the cherry on top of all these recent annihilations of United.

Also - I won't hold my breath on something being done retroactively, but how on Earth does Bruno Fernandes get away with pushing a linesman? How the hell did what he did yesterday throughout the game result in zero yellow cards? And how did Luke Shaw finish the game - he had at least 4 things that should have been a yellow card. Another coward performance by a referee ignoring obvious yellow cards and penalties just because United gave up and were being petulant while being destroyed.

United is lucky that wasn't about 12-0 because it legitimately could have been.

Finally - I cannot believe a Liverpool fan sprinted across the pitch and slid into the back of players legs during the 7th goal celebration. He almost injured Robertson and Jones. Imagine being that stupid. That should be an immediate lifetime ban from any stadium. How hard it is to stay in your *** **** seat during the match? And how do the stewards allow a person to jump on the field and run across the full width of the field to even get near players? Pathetic.

If the FA had a spine they would give Bruno a 5 match, however since he’s a United player they will look the other way.

Edit: He’s got off Scott free.

So many of these "security" workers look like they can barely catch their breath, never mind someone running across the pitch.

Really? In a win you’re worried about Bruno Fernandes? Does he post here???

He’s so damn annoying because he’s too good of a player to be doing the kind of stuff he does.

Did y’all see him motioning to ETH about getting subbed when he wasn’t injured? Basically just gave up while wearing the armband.

I was really questioning why ETH kept those two on when it was 100000% obvious that they were out of it mentally and were on the verge of doing something stupid. I thought he should have protected them but maybe he was trying to make a point.

I used to really like Neville as an analyst. During Chelsea’s 1st UCL title run he was pretty much the voice of it …”written in the stars” but his United bias is so damn hard to ignore now. I get it, bias over there isn’t hidden as much as it is in the US but damn, he can’t speak on anything United without making me cringe.

I do like Carra though. His scouse accent has gotten so much easier to understand over the years lol.

I think ETH was making a point. You have that spot on. It’s a long process despite how early there have been results so I think he needs to see still who really is going to a long term solution. I’m not the biggest Bruno fan at all but I think he falls into the same trap an awful lot of players do on other clubs. Doing it in a United shirt is just the easier target. It’s well deserved regardless.

I think Cara and Gary are good when they are together. Neither on their own really carries too much interest but I like them jointly even if it’s Just for the nostalgia of a generation of footballers before.

The fact that Conte is still employed today confirms everything we’ve all thought about Spurs.

I think they both are bad. Gary is just a little more obvious about it. I just take him as a United mascot and nothing more. As a supporter it’s obviously easier for me to swallow his bias. I will say though that I enjoy going down memory lane with his show The Overlap.

Cara hasn't really changed much tbh, Gary was always a little bit better at analysis than Cara. Gary's analysis has gone way downhill though, and he really is not that great of a color commentator. His takes also just keep getting progressively worse, idk I think he's comfortably worse than Cara and this is coming from someone who liked him better when they first came on the scene.
