    Well that sucks...

Moyes, you are my last hope...Other wise it'll either be Rafa, and no one wants that, or Steve McClaren...and no one REALLY wants that!

      I hope.

Let me put it this way, if this is the Summer we lose Cesc (still don't think Barca can afford what he'll cost) then Nasri must stay or we'll have to do some serious purchasing.
Well they're offering less than last summer.

They're pushing strong for Sanchez and Rossi. I'd rather have Sanchez.

I'm beginning to think that Barcelona really doesn't want him right now. They are just making bids knowing they are going to be turned down just to satisfy the fan base. Either that or they want to unsettle him to the point where he forces his way out and if that's the case they should have learned from last season, that isn't going to happen.

I really don't understand why they don't want the guy. On his worst day he is better than Busquets or Affelay.

No doubt, but I do like Affelay. Although if they sign Sanchez or Rossi then where does that put him.

I've wanted Cesc as well like other Barca fans but at this point it seems like it will be difficult in acquiring him. Especially with Inter Milan's strong bid.

Id rather have Busquets. He brings a lot of versatility to Barca's defense. Can play in the MF and backline when needed.

I guess Barca is looking for a long-term replacement for Villa. Messi & Pedro will be staples up top but Bojan seems to always get the shaft. First Henry, then Pedro, then Villa, and now maybe Sanchez or Rossi.

              Bojan does get the shalf.

I like Busquets, except for his theatrics. He can play in the back line but often times looks shaky. But he's still young and learning.

If Cesc goes it will be to Barca. He isn't going to Inter or anywhere else unless they make a crazy bid.

Sneijder looks like he might be Premier League bound so who knows. Inter have the money to throw and Barca might be reluctant to match.

The only reason Arsenal is considering selling Cesc to Barcelona is because Cesc wants to go. I don't think he will be too eager to move to Milan. Arsenal would have to be blown away by Inter or any other team not named Barcelona. I'm talking upwards of 60 million blown away.

Arsenal do not want to sell Cesc and I don't think Cesc wants to go anywhere other than Barcelona. That is going to make it really tough for anyone else looking to buy him.

I think they know it'll cost £50+ million and they know they can not afford it. The mumblings of £30 million are an absolute joke.

Also, as you said above, if he goes anywhere, it's Barca. Not a chance he would ever go anywhere in England.

I'm already starting to think he's not going anywhere this year as well due to the cost and not to mention, where exactly does he play on that Barca side? If they bought him, it would be more as just an act of bringing him "home" and not improving the side, as he wouldn't get in the side right now.

Precisely. He isn't go anywhere he doesn't want to. Period. Nobody else is even in question for me. And I'm nearing the point where I did last year when I became positive he wasn't going. It's the usual talk but nothing serious. Soon we'll hear more Barca players speaking about it and what not and we'll hear reports of Arsenal turning down offers around £30 million. And in August, he'll be starting for Arsenal.

Agreed here. Without Cesc, all Barca has done is draw talk about being the greatest team ever (and it's justified IMO). At this point, why would they shell out millions upon millions to get him just to get him?

It looks like Liverpool have paid 20 million pounds plus Ngog for Jordan Henderson.

Another head scratcher from the Liverpool front office.

Instead of doing business they've gone the City route and figured they're sure to sign someone if they just throw copious amounts of money at the club. Way to go Liverpool, now everyone knows you'll gladly overpay. Oh wait, we knew that already after your January purchases.

Also, Ashley Young to Manchester United seems to be nearing. One question, where does he fit into that team? No, seriously. Am I missing something or are they going to have too many players sitting on the bench who would rather be starting.
