^ Worth a shot on a free transfer. Does that mean they will cash in on Bony? Michu looks like he's packing his bags as well.Comment

Kroos to Madrid looks to be wrapping up soon. And for lower price than Lallana.... Gotta love these inflated English prices for footballers...

The Transfer Thread
I just can't see how those 3 coexist. Would be entertaining to watch though. I know Cesc is off to Chelsea. Is Xavi leaving Barca? Heard some rumors but could be completely false.
Oh I forgot about Sanchez as well. Seems like they are losing a lot in the midfield.SEATTLE SEAHAWKS

Re: The Transfer Thread
Yes, Xavi is gone - that much has been announced.
Supposedly he's going to get some of that Arab oil money, but nothing for sure on where he's going yet. Just the team from there saying they've signed a pre-contract. Barca has confirmed he's gone, though.badComment

Re: The Transfer Thread
It hasn't been confirmed... It's actually looking more like he'll stay with Barca at this point. When Spain was knocked out of the WC there were reports saying he was going to confirm his exit but he never said anything.

I remember reading articles that Dani Alves confirmed him leaving in an interview after their exit, along with articles saying that Barca (Del Bosque) confirmed it but it just looks like it's one of those weird rumors as of now.badComment

NYC FC wants him too. Imagine Villa/Lampard/Xavi. Or Kaka/Xavi in Orlando.Comment

The Transfer Thread
How could NYC do that with MLS's salary cap? Don't you only get like one or two designated players or whatever it is?

Re: The Transfer Thread
They'd be a designated player. Designated players only count for like $300k against the salary cap, and I believe you can have three DPs as a max.Kansas City Royals | FC Barcelona | New Orleans Pelicans
