That release clause has to be a ridiculous amount of Euros.

The figure I saw was pounds, which converts to around 219 million dollars. That is absolutely silly.

Then again, The Daily Mail loves to make up nonsense.

I saw it come from Bleacher Report who go it from the Spanish newspaper, AS. And they got it from a Brazilian news outlet UOL.

I'm just sick of his attitude/lack of effort, and considering his age this is probably the last chance we get to receive a decent return.

The Guardian is reporting that Spurs are close to signing Wanyama from Southampton for around £11m.

I'm surprised at the price. I feel like if he went last year it would've been higher.

I think Schneiderlin was the talent of that duo. Wanyama is good but he's not THAT good. He almost certainly is being signed as a backup unless Pochettino is looking to play a 4-2-4. Probably a fair price considering he didn't have his best season and I think he doesn't have too much time left on his contract.

                    From Sky:

                    LIVERPOOL SIGN MANE

Liverpool have completed the signing of Southampton winger Sadio Mane after he underwent a medical yesterday, according to Sky sources.

It’s our understanding that Mane joins the club on a five-year contract for a fee of £34m.

The Senegal international will wear squad No 19.

                    PALACE BID £31.5M FOR BATSHUAYI

He's among the most coveted names of European strikers, but it looks like Crystal Palace are determined on winning the battle to sign Marseille striker Michy Batshuayi, according toSky sources.

Palace have made a bid of €38m and nearly two and a half times more than the £12.8m they paid for Yohan Cabaye, their previous transfer record.

Batshuayi was linked heavily with moves to Newcastle and Stoke last January and he has since reportedly been the subject of interest this summer from Tottenham.

Mkhitaryan to Man United is being reported at £30m, which I think is just way too damn low.

It's high for someone with 1 year left on their contract

Several reports of Batshuayi to Chelsea for 40 mil after rejecting Palace. Hmmm can't say I know much about him other than his impressive goal scoring record in France. Hope he gets more playing time for Belgium.

Ake has joined Bournemouth on loan for the season. If he can get regular game time again it'll only benefit him.

And I think Liverpool overpaid for another Saints player. £34m could've been spent more wisely imo.

Of course they did, you have to overpay these days.

Can he play CB? He was Watford's left back for the majority of last season but I don't see him ousting Charlie Daniels in that position. Imo he was Bournemouth's player of the season.
