Re: The Transfer Thread
Sissoko is good at his midfield role, Poch actually just talked about it yesterday how Sissoko plays because he's the only one with the aggressive style switching from attack to defending.
But Spurs desperately need a winger who can do anything on a dribble.

Re: The Transfer Thread
He is not cup-tied so he could feature in the CL. It will be interesting to see how he fits into their system should he come. They don't really play with much width. Apart from Eriksen the majority of their crosses are from Davies (Rose) /Tripper (Aurier).Last edited by ~LiverpoolRed~; 01-26-2018, 03:43 PM.Comment

Malcom was the first option but it sounds like they won't sell him this window.

I think it's a joke that Sissoko gets regular game time in a team with such high aspirations.Comment

Re: The Transfer Thread
I've maintained since his Newcastle days that Sissoko was really not a very good player, and every Spurs game I've seen him play he really didn't do anything even remotely special.

I will never be one to say Sissoko is a key player for a top side but I do think he receives too much criticism at times. Last season he was terrible but this season he is much improved and has shown up big a few times (@ West Ham, @ Real Madrid). When Spurs are healthy, he is nowhere near the starting lineup but with all the injuries he has been a good enough back up and has never been the reason for a loss.Current careers:

He used to terrorize us when he was at Newcastle. I always question his desire but if a manager could get him to consistently give effort they could have a decent player on their hands. Physically he has all the tools.

That Newcastle team was filled with players who turned it on when the lights were on and played like crap at all other times.Comment
