Lucas Moura to Spurs is done. Only £25 million since his contract was up in 6 months.Comment

Re: The Transfer Thread
I've been reading Morata is still struggling with his back issues; some people are saying that's the reason for his poor form but... I dunno.
We may see Giroud Monday. He won't be #1 but will definitely get more of a run out there.Comment

Re: The Transfer Thread
Giroud will probably get more play time than people think. We play 2 up top sometimes, and like you said Morata is currently injured. There will be plenty of rotation for Giroud I think.Comment

Wondering if Crystal Palace will get Ronnow and Sorloth across the line before the end. Ronnow is looking unlikely(One of my favorite Danish GKs), but Sorloth possible still.Support Local Sports

Andy King joins Swansea on loan from Leicester. Swansea play Leicester at the weekend so he can't play. Good start Andy!Comment

FIFA CONFIRM SUMMER WINDOW DATES
The summer transfer window in England will officially open in England on Thursday June 9, FIFA have confirmed.
Meanwhile, the window in England will officially close on August 31.
However, as previously reported, Premier League clubs voted to close their own window at 5pm on Thursday August 9, two days before start of next season.
* It means PL clubs have official trading window of 9 June - 9 August.Comment

Still think it’s dumb the FA decided to do that without other leagues jumping on board.Comment

Re: The Transfer Thread
Edit: Hmm, I wonder if clubs could get around this problem by doing a loan for a player like PSG did with Mbappe. Not sure. I see the loan window may still be open until Aug. 31.Last edited by bhurst99; 02-02-2018, 06:24 PM.Comment

Re: The Transfer Thread
I think it'd be more interesting if they had at least elected to make Aug 9-31 a joker window, where the teams could sign/register 1 player.
My only real hope is that this eventually leads to transfer windows not happening while teams are playing.Support Local Sports
