      Re: The Transfer Thread

RAC1, which is a pretty reliable source for Barca news, is reporting they are shopping Dembele around?

That's nuts if it's true. To think they've kept Gomes around the long but are legitimately considering cashing out on a 21 year old 150m player a year after they bought him? Especially since he was injured for like 4 months and then played well whenever he got a chance after that.

Barca board is incomprehensibly stupid if this is actually true.

I hope Levy listens to Pochettino and Lineker and whips up some cold hard cash for some extra quality.

Looks like Leicester are getting Ricardo Pereira.

Crazy good transfer for them, he’d challenge for a starting spot at all the top 6 bar City.

Looks some fans aren’t too happy about that

Atleti are apparently legitimately looking at Vardy.

Honestly that is amazing, can you imagine a Vardy and Costa striker partnership?

I never knew how much I wanted this to happen until just now.

I would gladly bid good riddance to Vardy. Not only because he always scores against Liverpool, but also because he's a complete tool.

I’d have him at Chelsea in a heartbeat.

Legitimately might be the best big-game attacker in the league.

RANGERS are close to signing Martin Skrtel and Harry Wilson. It’s understood Gers have almost agreed a £2.7million deal to take Skrtel from Fenerbahce. The Slovakian defender is set to pen a three-…

Plus he’s on record saying he was looking to emulate Juergen Klopp’s style at Rangers. After the past three seasons of watching players try to pass it into the goal...I’m down.

Red Bull is calling up Tyler Adams from their AA affiliate, New York Red Bulls, to Leipzig at the end of the MLS season.

Good call, he's too good of a prospect to spend loads of time in the MLS, and Leipzig is actually pretty light on center mids from what I understand.

At the very least they could get him a good loan to another European club for minutes, which the MLS usually doesn't like to do for the brighter youngsters.

Figure this is a prime place for it, but chances West Ham with a transfer budget turns into an Evertonesque Summer?

I hope so. Nothing against Pellegrini, everything against West Ham.

Leipzig could use another mid, but Adams might get lost in the shuffle. It wouldn't shock me if Leipzig loans Adams to Salzburg. That way, he would have a pretty reasonable path of development.

Yeah, I think just him getting over to Europe is the biggest win here.

As I said, the MLS doesn't like to loan out their promising youngsters, so even if Leipzig just loans him out it will be much better than staying in the MLS.

Wherever he goes, it needs to be a team that wants him and is committed to giving him playing time.
