Re: The Transfer Thread
It seems to be picking up some steam, so who knows. It's intriguing to think about if nothing else.
If it does happen, does Real Madrid replace him with Neymar or Mbappe?

Re: The Transfer Thread
I'm sure Neymar and Mbappe are at the top of the list, but Hazard has been rumored to go to RM before hasn't he? I'm a PL guy first and foremost, so I'll always prefer the PL stars to stay put.

A big part of the reason Mbappe ended up at PSG is because RM didn't want to pay an 18 year old such high wages. You need to be a proven world class player for several seasons for RM to offer you Bale/Ronaldo type wages and Mbappe isn't there yet. Neymar is there, but his wages at PSG are so high he'd have to take a pay-cut, RM doesn't even pay Ronaldo those kind of wages.
From what I've read, RM is legit considering alternative/temporary options. Both Vinicius Jr and Rodrygo are supposedly absolutely wild talents, better developed and better performing than Neymar was at 17. Sounds like RM is seriously considering just using a stopgap and taking a gamble on them in a couple years.Comment

One thing about Madrid though, they have a wage structure and are usually unwilling to break it.

Re: The Transfer Thread
Rodrygo already announced and Vinicius Jr I think is supposed to be announced later this summer.
Also, I'm glad I'm not the only one who was reminded of Ramires a little bit when I saw Vinicius Jr.Comment

Florentino missed out on Neymar and he isn't about to let that nonsense happen a second time, so he bought BOTH the next Neymars, just in case.Comment
