No one else gives a crap, but I'm pretty excited that Bobby Wood is going on loan to Hannover.

Re: The Transfer Thread
I gotta say I'm pretty happy the Ronaldo return to Utd that so many of their supporters thought was a given didn't happen while he still has a couple years left in him. That initial text bomb and subsequent timeline is not something I was looking forward to.Comment

No, Juventus is/has been back for a while. The rest of the league minus Napoli & Roma to an extent are a dumpster fire.Comment

Re: The Transfer Thread
Dear Mr Perez,
Surely you would want to replace Ronaldo with the most popular player available. If Neymar doesn’t work out, there is a bright young man living in Liverpool that I think you would really enjoy. Do you know how many Egyptians there are out there? It’s definitely a lot. Plus, left footed players are really cool. You should know, you already have a few and they are cool right?
Have a nice day.

Re: The Transfer Thread
We can give the bi-annual rumours of Ronaldo back to United to rest. Italy will enjoy having him; who knows, maybe he still has enough in him to break Serie A records.Comment

Re: The Transfer Thread
Not strictly true taking into account inflation. The 2009 fee is more like £105m now. So they’ve made a pretty decent loss on the fee itself.
But what they’ve made in revenue from his ascent into godlike status while in Madrid offsets all of that, and they’re going to miss that hugely.

Coutinho signed a deal like that about 5 months before he was faking injuries to force a move.Comment
