Re: The Transfer Thread
Not sure where to put this, but it's the transfer thread so it fits.
It goes without saying the entire situation was unfortunate and had an incredibly sad ending, but when it comes to the business and public relations side of the Emiliano Sala transfer, I think Cardiff are and have always been in the wrong.
The campaign of "how dare Nantes ask for payment, the body hasn't even been found yet" was the start of the absurd, and now that Cardiff are continuing their attempts to not pay while citing an invalid transfer and Sala not eligible to play in the league as an excuse to withhold payment is ridiculous.
I know it's weird to even discuss the details of the whole thing considering two died and one is likely to never be recovered, but you can't refuse to discuss the details. Cardiff seems to be doing the "how dare Nantes bring up money at a time like this" but they're the ones bringing it up just as much. If they want to pretend they're above worrying about money in a situation such as this, just pay and move on and prove yourselves to be the club you're pretending to be.
By refusing to pay you're making it as much about business and money as Nantes are. In short, I think what Cardiff are doing and the game they're playing is far worse than what anyone thinks Nantes are doing.Comment

Re: The Transfer Thread
Bayern Munich have completed a club-record €80 million (£68m/$90m) deal to sign Atletico Madrid defender Lucas Hernandez.
The full-back, who was part of the France team to win the 2018 World Cup, has signed a five-year contract with the Bundesliga champions having completed a medical over the international break.
He becomes the second defensive reinforcement to have agreed to join Bayern this summer, with international team-mate Benjamin Pavard also on his way to Bavaria from Stuttgart after a €35m (£31m/$40m) deal was agreed in January.Comment

Re: The Transfer Thread
On his 18th birthday(today) US U-20 star Ulysses Llanez has signed for Wolfsburg. He's a winger with excellent body control, he won't be eligible to play until the next Bundesliga season, but I expect Wolfsburg to ease him in anyway. If he develops a final ball he could definitely be an excellent an attackerSupport Local Sports

Re: The Transfer Thread
Ander Herrera off to PSG on a free? He is one of the United players I actually thought they could use going forward. ****house type midfielder who you could never accuse of taking a match off.
He will fit right in with that midfield of bastards.Comment

Re: The Transfer Thread
OMG
Him and Veratti are going to be one-upping themselves to see who can get sent off first.
One of these days PSG will actually try to bring in a good middie.

Re: The Transfer Thread
It will be interesting to see where he slots in. He’s not really a winger anymore and isn’t a true 9 but he’s a great player and I’m sure once he gets out there with them he’ll figure it out
Adios Coutinho

Re: The Transfer Thread
If he’s leaving, I really hope Coutinho goes back to Italy so I don’t have to hear about him anymore.

Re: The Transfer Thread
I want him at PSG, just so they can continue to buy attackers and get eliminated in the early knockouts for the UCL.Support Local Sports
