                            I'm inclined to agree with you, but if he thinks that he can cup-tie him and get close to his asking price (if he's even still considering selling him) to put towards signing Barry, he's out of his mind. I'd be willing to bet that Alonso is going nowhere this window if Rafa doesn't drop his valuation.

                            If he went down to the 12M region and Middlesborough's 5M+ offer for Hoyte were legit, do you think Arsene would pull the trigger? In the words of Will Ferrell as Harry Carey referring to the idea of eating himself if he were a hot dog, "I know I would!"
