    And apparently, Laporta says he isn't done trying to get Villa. IF they get him, watch out....La Liga should be great to watch again this season

      Zlatan Ibrahimović -> Barcelona
      Samuel Eto'o + Alexander Hleb (season-long loan) + ~£35m -> Inter

        That doesn't make a whole lot of sense.

              Is it good riddance or careful what you wish for? Like everything else in life, the answer likely lies in the middle of the two extremes...

                I agree. Adebayor was good when he's on, but last season, he missed a lot of chances. As much as I would have liked to see him stay, he needed to leave. I don't have any confidence that Bendtner will be consistent, but Eduardo being healthy is a big plus

                        LOL. Awesome strip.

                        City's like the equally rich but ******** younger brother of Real Madrid when it comes to spending.

                          MF Tim Borowski is returning to Werder Bremen only after only one season with Bayern Munich. He joined Bayern from Bremen on a free transfer last summer, but was deemed surplus to requirements by new coach Luis Van Gaal.

                          On a related note -- does anyone else really enjoy the Bundesliga? I found myself watching a lot on GolTV last season and caught the top 50 goals from the last campaign yesterday. I find it a highly entertaining style of play since it's much less conservative than some of the other major leagues. Here's looking at you, EPL!

                            So is Ibra headed to Barca or not? This decides if I jump on the Barca bandwagon.

                              Honesty is refreshing. :wink: Hard to say for sure until it happens, but it's looking more likely as I believe Eto'o has held talks with Inter officials to discuss personal terms. Hard to believe for what seemed like a silly-season special when it first came out...

                                I think it will happen. Eto'o will get a nice wage package from Inter and Ibra of course will want to go to Barca. I think with the extra cash, Inter comes out on top. Ibra is better than Eto'o, but not by much and Hleb, if given 1st team chances, will shine in Italy. He was solid in his last season at Arsenal
