Hmmm. They're not in the Champions League, so I wonder if he'll ever play.

Chelsea have had a £16 million bid for Andre Schürrle rejected by Bayer Leverkusen. Unless they just don't want to sell at all, I'm surprised they wouldn't take that.

Chelsea have had an offer in excess of £16m for the Germany winger Andre Schürrle rejected by Bayer Leverkusen

Why wouldn't he play? He's an automatic starter for QPR and he's never voiced any preferences for UCL clubs.

pretty sure it's a joke in that Park seemingly only played in big games(Champions League) for United

I could be wrong but I took his comment as being a joke towards Park. He pretty much only played Champion's league games for Man United and rarely featured in other competitions.

Fair play. He'll be playing in a lot of big games for QPR now.

It was most certainly a joke.

He mostly played in "big games".

Which was also sometimes a bit of a joke.

Word is that Chelsea have beat out Spurs to the signing of Oscar. Really hope this turns out to be true, big fan of the kid

Supposedly he has came out and said he wants to stay in Brazil. That's what is making the rounds on twitter right now, so take it for what it's worth.

Seen that also, wouldn't mind seeing a sign and loan back though since he is young.

A few of the papers are saying that Adebayor is close to signing a permanent deal with Tottenham for £6m. Sounds a bargain until you hear he will become the highest paid player at the club with a staggering£115,000-per-week - plus a £4m signing-on bonus.

Paying Adebayor more than Bale. That's the Real Madrid effect right there.
