Looks like PSG is gonna try and sign Juan Mata.

Why would Ozil move to Arsenal?

Not a dig at Arsenal I'm just having trouble figuring out why he would even want to leave, and why RM would let him. Wasn't he just saying last week how happy he was at Madrid?

                      From the Arseblog live blog:

16.38 - Sky Italia reporter @DiMarzio, says: "Update on @EmilianoViviano: medical ok with @Arsenal, now he'signing the contract. Loan and option to buy at €6M next year"

                      And on Ozil:

16.40 - Sky saying an announcement could be made at 6pm UK time

You're surprised a player could be moving after saying how happy they are at a club?

Dig or not, I feel the need to defend. We're one of the biggest clubs in one of the, if not the top league in the world. He knows we have a better chance of competing with trophies with him. Also, money talks, and apparently we're going to pay him well if it happens.

It's not that surprising that he'd move.

                          well done arsene.

                          Fee: £40m. Contract: 5 years, £130,000-a-week

you've finally opened up that purse.

I agree you guys are one of the biggest clubs in England, but RM is one of the biggest clubs on the planet and Ozil only has competition from 1 player, and your in contention for every trophy all the time. It just seems odd, it's not like he was going to get hosed on playing time or anything.

Why would Ozil move? It's clear he's not 1st choice especially with Bale coming. Isco is clearly preferred by Ancelotti. Ozil also knows he needs to be playing in a World Cup year and honestly didn't see that happening in Madrid.

Right. He could stay at RM and not start in a World Cup year, or he could come to Arsenal and instantly be our next player and start. I'm sure he'd prefer to stay at Madrid, but he's become surplus to requirements there.
