Arsene told TalkSport he expects the Sanchez transfer to be completed tomorrow. So he's not messing that one up.

I wonder if OSUFan_88 is getting a new Villa shirt with the self proclaimed best striker in the world emblazoned on it?

Sky Bet have slashed the odds on Nicklas Bendtner joining Aston Villa following a surge of interest in the striker’s services. The online bookmaker were offering odds of 16/1 on the Dane heading to Villa Park before seeing a sudden run of bets on Tuesday night, prompting them to cut the price to 1/8. Bendtner is available on a free transfer after being released by Arsenal this summer following 10 years with the north London club, scoring 47 goals in 171 appearances.

Honestly as far as free transfers go it's not that bad of an idea. He's actually fantastic for Denmark, one of the best strikers at the last Euros, if somebody can get him to play like he does for Denmark it wouldn't be too bad.

And yes I realize Arsenal fans have been saying this all along. Plus, if there is only one person who can unleash The Bendtner, surely it's Paul Lambert.

Can't be any worse than Chamakh was at Palace last season. I thank god every day that we actual didn't pay a transfer fee for that clown. As much as Arsenal fans dogged him, Bendtner actually scored meaningful goals for us when he wasn't slapping cab drivers on unauthorized leave in Denmark. But the fact that he only had 170 appearances in 10 years at the club tells you everything you need to know.

If he's put into a system that fits him, he definitely can improve upon his Arsenal performances.

Let him win it in the air, and feed him crosses, and he'll definitely give some teams trouble.

Just don't stick him on the right wing and expect him to do anything. *cough*Arsene*cough*

David Ornstein, BBC, says Sanchez to Arsenal deal is closer to £35 million, and his medical will be done today.

                    Yaaaaaay!

Update via Sky Sports: We're hearing that Chile forward Alexis Sanchez has now passed his medical at Arsenal and the 25-year-old's switch from Barcelona to the Emirates should be confirmed very soon. Alexis is understood to have agreed a four-year deal and the fee will be around £32million, money that Barca will use to buy Luis Suarez from Liverpool.

I'm almost positive he's just on vacation, but Pogba is in London right now and my pants are a little tight at the moment.

It would be awesome if we could get him! Cesc and Pogba would be something to deal with!

Dont forget about Matic. He was by far our best midfielder and he only played 15 or so games.

There won't even need to be a defense with those two holding the midfield.

Of course, I just don't see Matic starting over Cesc. If Pogba comes to Chelsea, he'll definitely start day one.

Matic and Cesc play different positions, I doubt anybody will ever start over Matic if he's fit.
