Maybe they'll use that Sane money on a full back they never play.

Re: The Transfer Thread
I wouldn't say it's good business by City, as they should've let him go last Summer, but given the circumstances it's not bad business...?
He's far away from being fully recovered, and may never be the same player again. He has one year left on his contract, and there are apparently about £11m worth of bonuses that are very likely, some of it tied to winning the Bundesliga so they should just pay that to City now.Comment

Re: The Transfer Thread
Sounding like Sancho is United is only a matter of time as they’ve offered $115 Mil for him.
Also, Chelsea will be making a run at Kai Havertz from Bauer Leverkusen.#RespectTheCultureComment

Re: The Transfer Thread
There seem to be just as credible reports that no contact has been made, nor has an offer.
Based on recent United transfers, I would not hold my breathe for it to get done on-time regardless of their interest.Comment

Re: The Transfer Thread
Think Havertz deal is going to happen in the next week, looks like he was on board to join well before we confirmed top 4 so there's thatComment

Re: The Transfer Thread
That's two players Liverpool has missed out on to Chelsea because they aren't spending money during the virus. Sigh. Havertz probably wasn't as close, but Werner definitely slipped through their hands.
In other news, Adam Lallana to Brighton on a free transfer. He will fit in nicely there.Comment

Re: The Transfer Thread
Chelsea really need him after their disaster of a season though. Not only a poor league showing, but Liverpool had THREE losses, that's TWO more than their vaunted 04/05 campaign. Really just absolute shambles of a club right now. Havertz won't help them, they don't even acknowledge the greatness of Pulisic.Support Local Sports

I hate this but we’d be due $23 million if that number is correct so 🤷🏻*♂️Comment

Re: The Transfer Thread
So I’ve heard a few criticisms of United pursuing Sancho and I just don’t get it. Greenwood is a natural striker and Sancho is a winger. Yup there’s also Martial and Rashford but every great United team I remember had 3 top quality strikers, especially considering how many different tournaments there are for top teams. Plus all their guys up front are so interchangeable.
There are other areas they need help. They need a wing back and center back for sure but not many teams let elite center backs go honestly. You need to get lucky and really find a diamond in the rough so scouting is where that comes in.
It’s just such a no brainer transfer to me. The problem is I think Dortmund knows this tooYankees, Manchester United, Chicago Bears, New York RangersComment

Re: The Transfer Thread
Idk Kerik, I’d keep Greenwood in that right inside forward role. He’s deadly coming inside on that left foot.
Maybe he eventually becomes a #9 but their setup now is very fluid. Plus Martial whines when he isn’t central.
