Also just fyi, there is more than one team with Borussia in their name.
Ok, what does that even mean? FYI there are more than one team with United in their name as well. Kinda of pointless comment there. I’m pretty sure we all know which Borussia Sancho plays for and which United I’m talking about also.

As for how they are “extorting” them. That’s the reports of what United are saying, not me. I think the feeling is that they are basically asking for a price that would be set if this were a year with normal transfer year instead of one during covid with less money to spend. It’s total whining by United but it is what it is. I say just pay it so they can move on to other business instead of letting it linger on and on. Every team knows they have deep pockets. Hell, if anything, announcing Sanchez leaving and having his wages off the books before finalizing Sancho negotiations hurts them even more. Why would Borussia Dortmund ( the team that plays in the Bundesliga, from North Rhine-Westphalia in Dortmund, yellow and black kit so no confusion) give any discount to begin with?

Sounds like English reporters are saying there is a snag but non-English reporters are saying the deal is still in negotiations and thinks are fine?

its probably pandering by United. If they dont end up getting him, they better get a left footed center back, another wing back, and another midfielder instead.

Actually this was one of the rare occasions of me not making fun of someone and just trying to help lol. Typically the only people that refer to them as just Borussia are people who don't really follow the sport. I legitimately thought you just didn't know, maybe it came off snarky but I guess that's just how I sound?

Anyway, the better comparison to calling them Borussia would be referring to your team as Manchester. It's technically correct, but it sounds very silly.

All good. I’ve been in or around football since I was 10 so 35 years. Been to Old Trafford a few times, as well as a few other games overseas in Europe and China weirdly enough considering I’m not Chinese lol. I just looked at it as if I were saying “Manchester’s handling of Rashford was.....” knowing anyone would know exactly which team I’m talking about. Not all of us United fans signed up recently. That’s reserved for City supporters.

              Lol

He got you there Brahv. I have a United friend who used to get so mad when I called them Man U. [emoji2375]

It’s nice having another United fan on the board. Someone send the bat signal out for Leon!

I still don’t understand how that Alexis to Inter deal worked out though.

He is still alive - see him on Twitter during United matches here and there and more often complaining about Duerte (he lives in Manila)

No. They are in the hunt to get Koulibaly, Lautaro Martinez, Joao Felix and others.
