I’m still skeptical Re: Koulibaly. Napoli dicked around with us a few years ago with Jorginho so I don’t believe it until he’s holding the shirt. Just hope we don’t get fleeced because I’m not thrilled about his age as is.

City seem to be scouring the globe for a potential long term replacement for Aguero. Not sure he is the answer though.Comment

Re: The Transfer Thread
Earlier this year reports were saying Atletico rejected a €150 million bid from an English club. The valuation on young players these days is beyond ridiculous.

They’re definitely interested in Martinez. I’d rather wait a year and try for Haaland, but idk I just work here.Comment

I mean, that's fair though.

Jokes aside, we definitely did not treat all United fans the same way we treated Leon, he was a special case.Comment

Re: The Transfer Thread
Yeah I was going to say they have a long term replacement for Aguero right there in Jesus. Tbh, his all around game is better than Aguero’s.
I’d pull the trigger on K2 if I were Citeh. The CB market is bleak right now and Chelsea, Man United, Spurs, Arsenal, Barca, and a few more top top clubs need one. City’s window is now despite having a few studs under 25 (Jesus, Rodri, Foden, Bernardo, etc...).

Re: The Transfer Thread
I don't really expect us to do very much, especially to the first 11. Lallana and Lovren gone, I just expect a couple of players for depth.
A backup to Robertson (Jamal Lewis from Norwich linked).
We have been linked to Sevilla's Diego Carlos for months.
Klopp seems to like Ismaila Sarr from Watford. Sadio might be able to persuade him to come.
We have also been linked for ages with Thiago Alcantara but it seems PSG are likely to pip us to him.
I'm hoping we strengthen up top. Would love us to go for Raul Jimenez but I'm not hopeful.Comment

He mentioned Spurs too so I'm pretty sure KG thinks all clubs in London are top clubs or he thinks it's 2017..Current careers:

Re: The Transfer Thread
Another day and another way to describe Spurs are close to Hojbjerg.
First reports - Spurs interested in Hojbjerg
Second - Spurs in discussions for Hojbjerg
Third - Spurs close to terms with Southampton
Fourth - Spurs agree to terms with player
Fifth - Spurs agree with Southampton on deal sending KWP other way
Sixth - Spurs closing in on Hojbjerg
Seventh - Spurs agree to fee with Southampton
Eighth - Spurs win race for Hojbjerg
How many more steps until the deal is finalized?Current careers:

Re: The Transfer Thread
That's what killed Spurs this season. Winks, Dier, Sissoko, Skipp, and Lo Celso have been rotating as the defensive midfielder but none of them are actually good defenders (Winks used to be but dropped off a cliff).
Sounds like Hojbjerg is a good clubhouse guy, which Spurs can use right now. And he's only 23. For roughly 3m plus Walker-Peters, I think it is a low risk move to see if Jose can mold him into the defensive midfielder Spurs need.Current careers:
