                9.25 Genoa have ruled out the possibility of selling Argentine striker Diego Milito to Serie A rivals Inter Milan.

                10.00 Middlesbrough have branded Tottenham's latest approach for Stewart Downing as 'derisory'. Spurs are believed to have offered around £6million for the England international winger.

                10.25 Charles N'Zogbia has reiterated his desire to leave Newcastle during the transfer window. The Frenchman has previously revealed that he would welcome a move to Arsenal.

                    14.14 Carlos Tevez remains confident that he will become a Manchester United player on a permanent basis. The Argentine is currently on loan at Old Trafford and is yet to see the Red Devils resolve his future.

                    15.33 Rangers boss Walter Smith has dismissed specualtion linking Barry Ferguson with a move to Newcastle. The Gers chief has also played down talk suggesting Madjid Bougherra and Allan McGregor are on their way to St James' Park.

                      17.21 Serie A outfit Udinese have handed a one-week trial to Swedish forward Erton Fejzullahu. The 20-year-old is currently on the books of Mjaellby AIF but has been attracting interest for some time.

                      17.25 Ferencvaros head coach Bobby Davison has claimed that his was in-line to sign Derby midfielder Robby Savage. Davison admitted that a deal was close to being struck with caretaker manager Chris Hutchings but with the departure of manager Paul Jewell any deal is unlikely to take place for the time being.

                          21.23 As can be expected on a Sunday night the transfer news is coming in via slow drips but we anticipate a busy day tomorrow. Sky Sports News has learnt Stewart Downing will hand in a transfer request, while Portsmouth's Jermain Defoe will likely be back in the news as he too craves a move. Tottenham are expected to come in for the duo but Boro and Pompey want big money for their top names.
