EA released a hype video for Royal Liverpool, and this is what they have for the 17th hole...



Hoping it's just a text issue in the video, as the 17th is a nifty par-3 now.

EDIT - got confirmation that Hole 17 is a short par-3 in the game...it's just a text error in the video.

I really wish they would significantly toughen the rough impacts in this game. I enjoyed the course; however, it is so unrealistic to me with how EA is treating rough. I'm hitting it in what appears to be grass over my golfer's knees and getting 91-97% lies and spinning ball back on the greens out of this rough (and this is without using "hack " shot).

Got a few late rounds in last night & have to say that Royal Liverpool is an amazing looking course, just some of the views of the links from different elevations on the course are absolutely top notch. Big big problem though that Brew has highlighted is the rough isn’t near as penalising as it should be. You shouldn’t be bombing driver on every tee as the fairway misses are inevitable but there is no need to plot round this course with long irons & the like if the rough is so forgiving. I’m hoping EA watch the tournament this week & adjust lies according to real life.

How do we switch to these during an already started career. I think Oak Hill was already set but I wanted LACC during the US Open not last year's The Country Club and I wanted to put in Royal Liverpool for the Open and Olympia Fields for the BMW. I like to play a round on Thursday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday like the pros and play the entire season slowly.
