I know it may not seem like it, but I did have trouble putting.

My short and medium game just came through big time and I had a lot of really short putts.

Anything over about 3 yards though and it was a 2 putt.

I COULD have had a lot better score than my +1 today but my putter decided to take the round off, lol

I blew a lot of putts that I made on other days. My approach shots weren't that great today either so that set up a lot of longer putts than I wanted to see.

I think a lot of my problems have come from me trying different shots and strategies now. Before I was just doing one type of shot (no draw/fade just dead straight) and I had gotten in a routine. Now I just have to get myself settled down again and hope my play gets back on the positive side.

Right now, I am just sticking with hitting it straight.

Obviously as we do more challenging courses, I may HAVE to start learning draw and fade if I want to compete.

I have a feeling with putt preview off, one day I will have a -8 and the next I will have a +1....meaning, I will be all over the place and anything but consistent.

Should be interesting to see how we do tonight playing skins. I feel WAY more pressure playing live, knowing you guys are watching me...lol.

I did notice overall scoring was WAY down...only Vacancesin and myself scored better than par so far. But Hinch and Dominick have yet to play and I am sure they will do fairly well.

With no putt preview, you WILL get more skins!

I give myself about a good chance of getting 1 or less...lol.

hey guys - sorry to back out, but i dont think i'm going to be able to swing that much time in one chunk.

i don't want to block someone else if they want in, either. i'll check online at 11pm eastern, and i'l try to join if time allows me - and if you still just have 3 - but as it stands now, you can give my spot to someone else...

i thought it would be more like an hour - didn't realize it would be twice that!

yes, it takes a while to finish because each person takes their shots individually. A normal single round takes about 30 minutes to finish on average so when you have 4 people there it adds up.

Just a heads up...

I live in northern Illinois and we are supposed to get thunderstorms tonight, some may be severe. I looked at the radar and they will be hitting right around 11pm-12am CST tonight.

So there is a possibility my electricity will go out.

My TV and Xbox are on a UPS, so I can play through a short power outage, but anything over 20 minutes and I will have to shut everything down.

Hopefully nothing to worry about, but again...just wanted to give a heads up that there is a possibility I may have to drop out during the round.
