They wouldn't do that unless they truly make the game cross-play compatible. As it is now, for some reason, Xbox users are at a disadvantage when looking at how low players on PS especially can score comparatively.

Also, the issue is that the PGA Tour license is a major reason this game sold anywhere near as many copies as it did. The TGC games before it, even 2019 which had a small amount of PGA Tour branding, didn't get anywhere near 2.5 million copies. Slap "PGA Tour" and "2K" on it, and boom - sales went thru the roof.

I want to see them let you create your own schedule with your created courses or others. Name the events also.

They had this in The Golf Club series up thru TGC 2019...it was called Solo Society. You could set your own schedule, name your events, use whatever courses you wanted for the events, adjust AI, even name the AI players and select their nationality, etc.

This seemingly had to be removed when they went all-in on the PGA Tour license.

I think this would give career mode an entirely new dimension and give the field some elements of life. I just feel like I'm playing against a clinical spreadsheet in career modes now. PGA Championship Golf 2000 by Sierra had configurable, attribute based AI players like this and it made for a much more dynamic career mode. Its only weakness was that sometimes when you played along with AI players, they'd encounter a shot decision that they had insufficient AI to make a rational choice. For example, they'd tried to make an impossible carry over a hazard, rather than taking a drop in a safe area. It happened often enough to where it was annoying, but when it didn't happen it was really good. This type for problem could be overcome with a little more development.
100% agree. A career mode where each round of golf matches you with a different AI player would be great. I dream with a game of golf like this.

Sorry for my English

Agreed on all counts. The way the difficulty is set up now, it's basically just setting a different number for the cut-line and the win-line. The fact that on 'moderate' the CPU players will always shoot 5-6 under a day (regardless of conditions, pin placements, etc) just means all you're doing is setting the cut-line at ~+1-2 and the "win" number at -21 or so. Those numbers just move up or down by a few strokes depending on the difficulty level you set.

I don't have a ton of good ideas about how to address this, but it does make it seem less immersive when you know from the second you step on the 1st tee in Round 1 what you have to shoot to win at the end of Round 4. It's like the difference between time trial racing and wheel-to-wheel racing in motorsports. Totally different situations (almost different sports).
