Welcome to the Melrose Line, this morning were going to talk about some early 2010 season predictions and playoff predictions. The best team in the NHL in 2010 is going to be the San Jose Sharks. The worst team for the 2010 Season will be the Colorado Avalanche. Who's in the Stanley Cup Finals? The Ottawa Senators Vs San Jose Sharks (Sharks in 6).

This Sunday, the Nashville Predators' Arena name will be changed to the "Bridgestone Arena". Orginally the Nashville Arena was called the "Sommet Center".

This Sunday at the Bridgestone Arena was a Press Conference with Head Coach Barry Trotz. -

"This year's 2010 Captins for the Nashville Predators are: Jason Arnott, Steve Sullivan, and Shea Weber. Steve and Weber will be Nashville's Alternate Captins as for Arnott, He'll be our main Captin, that is all."

Tonighs Preds Vs Ducks game started off slow with nothing but amazing saves by both Goalies. 1st Period nothing was happening, only a total of 13 shots occured, 9 shots by the Ducks. Penalties were killing the Preds early on with 5 penaltys and 2 (3 on 5) chances for the Ducks. Most of the 2nd Period was the same thing. Tons of hits, alot of penatlies, and an enourmous amount of missed open nets. Late 2nd Period though, the Predators turned the ship around. Sullivan shoots a 1-timer for a goal, assisted by Weber, the only goal in the 2nd Period. 3rd Period nearly the same as the rest of the game. The first 18:00 Minutes were nothing but the same, but once the Ducks pulled their goalie, Rinnie saved 8 shots within 60 seconds. But, Anahiem couldn't keep the puck in Predator territory forever, Weber basically walks into the net with the puck too give the killing blow on the Ducks.
