Best Division: The Best Division in the NHL currently is no doubt the South East Division which has the Tampa Bay Lightning, Atlanta Thrashers, Carolina Hurricanes, Florida Panthers and the Washington Capitals. The race for First Place in the South East Division is still heating up, the Tampa Bay Lightning have a record of 35-22-4 and 74 Points, right behind them are the Atlanta Thrashers with a record of 34-22-4 and 72 Points, One Point behind the Thrashers are the Carolina Hurricanes whom have a record of 33-23-5 and 71 Points, the Florida Panthers and Washington Capitals are somewhat out of the race as they aren't doing so well. The Florida Panthers have a record of 29-25-7 for 65 Points while the Washington Capitals have a record of 31-30-1 for 63 Points and are just barely over .500, Also, the Tamp Bay Lightning are the Fourth best team in the NHL as of now.

Worst Division: The Worst division is once again the Central Division (Columbus Blue Jackets, Chicago Black Hawks, St. Louis Blues, Detroit Red Wings and Nashville Predators). Despite the fact that the Columbus Blue Jackets are the Second best team in the NHL, somehow the Central Division finds itself as the Worst Division in the NHL. Four out of the Five teams in the Central Division are experiencing a losing record with Chicago the closest to being at .500 with a record of 28-30-3 and 59 Points. Right behind Chicago is the St. Louis Blues whom have a record of 27-32-3 with 57 Points, behind them are the Detroit Red Wings (WTF?) with a record of 25-29-7 for 57 Points and then the Nashville Predators, the worst team in the NHL, have a record of 21-35-5 and only 47 Points.
