Pre-Season Outlook
-18 year old Dominick Bellini has taken his first step in a hopefully long and productive NHL career today as he signed his rookie contract with the Edmonton Oilers. He was the first pick of the second round in the draft, and he feels he fell in the draft due to his size. He played his Junior hockey with the Tri-City Americans and is considered a playmaker Center listed at 5'10 190lbs. With all the Youth on the Oilers he is expected to fit right in.
-Memorial Cup Stats
-Tri-City Americans vs Moncton Wildcats (2-1 W for Tri-City)
--1G, 1A, +1, 3 Hits, 5 Shots, 2nd Star of the Game
-Tri-City Americans vs Windsor Spitfires (5-2 L for Tri-City)
--1G, 0A, -1, 5 Hits, 5 Shots
-Tri-City Americans vs Brandon Wheat Kings (6-5 W for Tri-City)
--3G, 1A, +3, 3 Hits, 8 Shots
-Tri-City vs Brandon Wheat Kinds (Semi-Finals 3-2 L for Tri-City)
--1A, +0, 1 Hit, 4 Shots
-He is being put on the first line to start off the pre-season with Taylor Hall and Ales Hemsky. If Bellini can impress the Organization enough in the pre-season he has a shot at making the NHL opening day roster.
(So starting this because of my Be a GM with Winnipeg being damaged when transferring to a different xbox. Was too frustrated with losing the time put into that so decided to go the Be a Pro route this time.)
