We had to win 36 games, and we did. We can stay another year.
I had a big update for the end of the season with all important trades and retirements. But I lost it. Grrrrrr.
Important retirements: Selanne, Jagr, Brodeur, Gill and many others.
Now I'll make an assement before the draft and then I'll know what to do with the draft and the off season.

Late at night at the office in St.Paul, GM Loonstra is still looking over his notes. He still is pondering what to do at the draft and the upcoming off-season. Minnesota did not make it to the playoffs. The team was not good enough. We made a few small changes, but nothing big. Maybe we need a bigger overhaul or a good draft. But first we have to look at our own team. Where are we strong and what are our weaknesses? Do we have enough depht? We made some changes last year. We brought in a few players. We got McCabe, but he's retired now (a shame, he got really good numbers). We got LeBlanc (MON, Center) and Mike Fisher (waivers, Center), but we need a better team. Let's go over this one more time. These notes are on Loonstra's paper;

What do we have:
Centers:
Koivu top six.
Fisher, Brodziak, Christensen (UFA) 3/4rd line
Granlund will have a shot in the line-up.
Talents: LeBlanc and Phillips.
Who don we need to sign Granlund, Christensen is under review.

Left Wing: topsix Heatley, Bouchard.
3/4rd line: Kassian
Prospect: Bulmer
Kassian is RFA

Right wing:
Setoguchi, Latendresse, Clutterbuck (RFA), Palmieri (RFA) all good

Defense:
Foster UFA, Falk RFA, Stoner UFA (under review), We need to sign prospect Brodin

Goal:
Backstrom, Harding UFA, Hackett.

SUPERSTARS!!
Left wing, defense.
Goaltenders later and maybe a center who is a late round steal.
