The Canes opened up the 2014 season with a big win at home, scoring 4 goals in the first and adding one in the third to beat the Isles 5-2 in Carolina.

It took a shootout goal by Jeff Skinner but the Hurricanes managed to sweep the home and home with the Islanders on a 3-2 win in NY.

Can you post setup for GM? Difficulty, sliders , trade difficulty and what system?
I like to see how different difficulties do star wise and also trades if easy medium or hard.

difficulty is superstars... sliders are just ones ive messed with over time, trade difficulty is hard, system ps3

also i will include this as far as my logic when it comes to trades

1 - during season I set up my trade block how I want it, and can only accept trades can not offer or counter any.

2 - at the trade deadline i can only either make one blockbuster deal OR a max of 2 smaller deals

3 - at the draft i can only trade for a top 5 pick if i am in the top 10, and can only have a max of 2 first round picks each year (can acquire more but can only make 2 picks must trade others)

Game 3 - Buffalo Sabres 4 @ Carolina Hurricanes 3

The Hurricanes scored 2 goals in the first 3 minutes of the game but could not keep the lead and lost to the Sabres at home 4-3 giving Buffalo its first win of the year.

The Hurricanes went into Winnipeg and played a very defensive game but unfortunately could not get enough opportunities at the net and lost 2-1.
