Ken Campbell ‏@THNKenCampbell - 7 hrs

Carolina swapped Dwyer for Bordeleau. A right winger for a leftwing enforcer. Loonstra likes a rumble on the ice.

Re: Seb170455'Carolina Hurricanes: Can the Hurricanes storm their way to a Cup again?

vs

Carolina Hurricanes (7-2-1) @ Columbus Blue Jackets (---)
Ward vs Bobrovsky

1-2 OTL

1st periode:

2nd period:
CAR 1-0 9:58 J. Eberle (2) (R. Hainsey, E. Staal)

3rd period:
CBJ 1-1 3:18 C. Atkinson (3) (Unassisted)

Overtime:
CBJ 1-2 PPG 1:36 B. Dubinsky (5) (R. Johansen, J. Johnson)

1st star: B. Dubinsky (CBJ): GWG/OTG
2nd star: S. Bobrovsky (CBJ): GAA 0.98, SV% .950, 20 saves
3rd star: C. Atkinson (CBJ): 1 goal

This was a real give-away. Cam Ward threw the puck in his own net. And in overtime we ran over the goalie 2 times. This became a 5-on-3 PP and after a beautiful pass by Johansen, Dubinsky had the tap in.

Bordelau is on the 4th line RW.

Thanks Balrog. Most games are close, but I can win a lot. Maybe I will set it on Superstar.

Re: Seb170455'Carolina Hurricanes: Can the Hurricanes storm their way to a Cup again?

Hoogh: "This is Ellen Hoogh and again at my side is George "the Stache" Parros. The Hurricanes have played 13 games so far. George, what is going on there?
Parros: "It is going very well in Raleigh. They have had a great start with 9 wins. GM Loonstra tooled their roster and added Fedorov as coach. But it worked so far. I don't know how long the magic is going to last, but you'll never know how far this can go.

Hoogh: "How do they win them?"
Parros: "They defend well. They play tight games and do not score a lot of goals. There goalies are not great, but sufficient."

Hoogh: "Which players stand out?"
Parros: "Skinner has scored their goals. He is a dangler who can score. All guys contribute, but the new guys have done their job. Hodgson, Morrow and Richards have been good. Loonstra can be content with those guys. Eberle has been a real danger for the opposition, but can't seem to score much yet. But he will contribute, I am sure of that. The whole roster does their job."
Hoogh: "The future will tell if this lovestory between Loonstra and the Hurricanes continues. We talk more sports after this. These are The Rolling Stones......."
