Possibly, but it depends on what the requirements for next gen madden will be like on pc.

It should be able to handle madden 19-22 though.

i don't know about linux compatibility but you can just run it off windows on it.

you guys should try to hit up Rich from Review Tech USA YouTube channel. He is big on mobile gaming and has reviewed a bunch of units. He could probably answer this question....although I think he doesn't have one yet either. lol

Re: Madden 22 and Steam Deck

For anyone following along on this discussion, it appears Madden 22 is listed as "Playable" on Steam Deck. The article says it is only "Playable", not "Verified", because EA requires an internet connection for even single player games. If this is true, and not modified on Steam Deck, this would absolutely kill gaming on the go (for these games). If I can't play while on an airplane, then a mobile device is useless to me. Hoping there is a workaround on this. Here is the article:

you can play madden 22 without an internet connection. you only need that once when you install it, for the DRM stuffs and activation.

I tried to start Madden 22 (and Madden 21) on my PC with wifi off, to test it, and neither would open. Is there something you have to do to get them to start while offline?
