Are u using a roster u d/led from roster share or one of your own???

If one d/l it's most likely that person used all CAP slots which is around 400.

If not then I don't know what answer be.

i wouild say 400 to 450 is the cap range

but there is a workaround if u dont mind redoing names that trick can add 100-200 extra caps only downside is u cant change the b-day

I have been creating a roster that has every single player player missing from Madden. Yet, I'm running into cap limit issues. I'm not sure I have made that many players, I've added all missing players from the Bears to now the Eagles. I can't create any more players though, is it a little too far fetched for thinking I could add all missing players? I was creating every player missing from each team, from the IR, to every practice squad player, is it a waste?

There are over 2900 players on the M17 roster. In years past, a roster could not have more than 2999 players. You can likely only create 70 or so players on M17 so what you are saying makes sense. You have probably added around 5-6 players to 13 teams and hit the 2999 player limit. You would have to edit some scrub FA's and add them to the rest of the teams to fill out the roster.

Ah. Thank you. I'm glad I added all starting players to the league first, but practice squad players get called up due to injuries every week. Do you know if the roster updates have less CAPs? I'm sure i can see that by uploading the roster in franchise, thanks for the info.

They've been adding a few more missing players every week. I think Week 2 had 2920 something players, Week 3 had around 2932 and Week 4 has 2935 or so. I'm not looking at the rosters so these are approximate guesses. So every week, you'd be able to make less CAP's if the current trend continues. I wouldn't be surprised if the Dev team deletes some of the free agents around week 8, particularly older veterans who haven't signed with a team this year. That would be a simple way for them to open up some more CAP slots.

You may want to edit players like Jackson Griebel, Asher Heldfond, and Allen Levy who are fictional players who came with the default rosters for some reason.
