Current roster problem

Hi guys

I dont play madden a lot but have a question I need Some help with

I've updated to the current rosters but when I go to a play now game and pick the Vikings it has bridgewater listed as the starter and Bradford the backup. I know how I can fix it to have Bradford start I was just curious why it lists bridgwater the starter.

After you download a roster whether it be EA's official update or a custom roster/update, you have to manually go and load the file. Then you can play with it

How do I load that current roster? Where do I go

Go to customize>share & manage files>load and delete files>roster and then choose which file you're wanting to play with

I'm on the PS4 and have tried this... multiple times. I go to the rosters, load the roster that I want, and start an offline season. Every time I've done that, I get a roster that I don't have! I've 2 rosters. They're identical. When I get to the preseason, it's neither roster!! I just downloaded the most recent EA roster...

I'm the Lions.

EA Roster: Tate 87, Slay 87, Burton 85 as top 3 players.
EA Roster Franchise Preseason Rosters used: Tate 92, Ansah 89, Slay 89
EA Roster Franchise Active Roster used: Tate 88, Slay 87, Ebron 86

What gives??

When you start your franchise mode it asks you whether you want to start with preseason (which is EAs default roster and not updated) or you can import which allows you to start your season from a loaded roster as opposed to some default EA one.

Make sure to import from the roster you want and have loaded
