What to do with players on IR?

Hello all. Didn’t want to make a thread about it in case it doesn’t get completed, but I’m working on a roster currently. This issue has been in the game before, but I’m just now bringing it up. What do my fellow roster editors to with players on injured reserve? I’ve pretty much always moved them to punter and lowered all of their stats to make them completely worthless. I wish you could just cut them or have the ability to take them off IR.

Thoughts or suggestions from the community? Looking forward to your responses.

I move them to punter also and rename them something like "No One" or Nota Player" lol

Not much else can be done unless you do not want to ever use the roster in Play Now. If Play Now is not a concern you can go ahead and edit them at their position and then when you start the Franchise make sure you turn Pre-Existing Injuries to OFF

Depends on the player, if theres a player currently on the real life roster who is out for the year that i can use the IR player for then ill do that then use that ayers template to create into someone else. So for example lets say ur editing a roster and come across Joe Brown who is on IR on the madden roster ur editing but Ryan Shazier is done for the year ill make Joe Brown into Shazier then use Shazier's model for another player.
