Custom Draft Class Only Available Year 1?

Sorry if this has been discussed, I couldn't find it.

I've simmed a few franchises and each time I get to year 2, week 3 I am not prompted if I want to import a draft class. Am I missing something or is this only an option for year 1? Keep in mind this is after using a custom draft class in year 1.

The option should be available but for whatever reason the system doesn't ask you come week 3. I think if you hit L3 it will popup the import screen and allow you to do as you wish.
