Keyboard to edit players names ratings??

I'm curious if anyone knows of any keyboards that let you type in the players names and ratings rather have to use ps4 controller.. when I plug into the ps4 with a bluetooth or USB keyboard it just lets me type messages... trying to be faster making a roster

I have tried several, none seem to work. I have even used the key pad that pugs into the controller, that does not work either.

I used to have one on Xbox360 that I did the college rosters with.. apparently madden does not allow a keyboard .. I purchased a keyboard & mouse converter did not work and also the kind that plugs into controller also did not work.. only for messages to people in chat

I have tried a ton of different things but nothing has worked. I totally get what you're saying. It feels like 70% of the editing is typing out names. I wish it was more like PC amp where you can just type it out and even have longer names i.e T.J Houshmandzadeh instead of a max of 10
