For most teams it is a vertical power run scheme using either Minnesota or Buffalo or (Rams if the went a ton of singleback like the Redskins ) on offense

Defense I just give them a base 4-3 or 3-4 except for the 85 bears who get the 46 scheme.

Check out pro-football reference and it will tell you what scheme they used.

That is in franchise, if you wanna play outside if franchise then iteachhistory has some great playbooks out there for use with his 1988 NFL roster and those work great in play now mode.

I'll post a video later about x factor and superstars and who they were awarded to if anyone wants to do the same otherwise I'd play with them off, or just edit and give whoever you want those abilities inside CFM

Did you keep Tom Brady and his hot-route master ability unchanged? Just wondering, because I'd change him into Marino to use in exhibition mode against other 80's teams.

I cannot recall if Brady is in the roster set or not. I believe he is but as a punter or some other position. If you cajnges him back to QB I am not sure if his x factor will come back as it was or not. It does seem.thay if you change his face then he will lose the x factor
