Thank you! I make these for everyone and not just for me. I want it to have a good feel and to seem like a real draft.

Well to me when it comes to the ratings and attributes, I do not know why you would not just go with how madden itself does it. You scout the players all season. The you get to see their combine numbers. everything that deals with the numbers, of the players, like speed, is shown in the combine numbers. If someone has a 97 speed, in the madden combine they are going to show a 4.26 - 4.3 for their 40 time. I just dont understand why you would not make your draft reflect the same thing. Also, with how light pads and helmets have got in the past 20 years, pads hardly effect anything for speed anymore.

I want to be true to the combine and I want to be true to the game. I don't want to sit here and over think and take away for the character. Then like I said in that other thread, they can have a 97 speed but if their other skills are trash that 97 speed does not do much. I have used low 70 speedy receivers. Try and putting them on a drag route, its not pretty. They run in linebackers and get hung up and that totally disrupts the whole route. Speed is nice for after they catch the ball but before, there is so much else you have to deal with. Are they good at short route running? Can they release from coverage? If that is no to both, well... that 97 speed now no longer matters.

I sadly do not understand why the other guy got so upset and bent out of shape. I was trying to have a serious conversation with him about players ratings and he took it as a threat or insult? I don't really know. I downloaded his updated draft and guess what, he did everything he said he would not.

I am just going to move on and keep doing my thing and I for sure will not stick my neck out like that again. I really hate keyboard warriors and especially ones that threaten me with admin action for doing nothing but trying to have an actual conversation.

Anyway, sorry for the rant, but thank you again. I am glad I am not the only one that thinks like this!

I've had players messaging me the same thing. The majority can download files no problem but theres definitely a group of users who get error codes consistently.

I'm one of the users that I can download as much as I want but the file never shows up in my load/delete screens. Is what it is. EA has been dragging their feet

Yep! I am the same. Yesterday I was trying to DL a 1991 roster by Toots on xbox. I had to literally download the file 4 to 5 times before it would show up in load/delete screen. I just stayed on the download screen and spammed then file until it said "do you want to rewrite this file" and as soon as I clicked on that, it worked. I however wonder if this is not a problem of having an external HD and having madden on that?
