Sorry I've been gone and busy with work stuff but have some free time now. I will be testing out the newly updated black sliders started today with a game vs PIT.
Been incredibly busy! But alas, time off...so here we go!
This game was a nailbiter...Big Ben proved to be a devastating adversary against the Jacksonville secondary as did Le'Veon Bell to the Jacksonville front 7. Despite that, Bortles kept them in the game (a brief injury scare definitely worried me) and, with a few KEY stops, Jacksonville was able to force an overtime, where a punt that pinned Pittsburgh on their own 6 left the door open for a game winning sack from LB Dekoda Watson!

Playing semi-tired was not my brightest move. As a result, Blake Bortles played as if hungover, throwing the ball wide of my targets by about 5 yards on maybe 30% of his throws, including 2 complete misses that landed in the hands of a defender who was standing in a zone about 8 yards from my target for interceptions. Was able to run more effectively, and was successfully shutting down Greene until 2 huge runs at the end (the 64 yard touchdown run and a 47 yard burner with both of his broken tackles) that ballooned his stat line. Furthermore, Whitehurst had some miracle throws (including a 180 spinning throw as he got hit that found Delanie Walker wide open behind the safeties) and some crazy throws as he was avoiding sack leader, Everette Brown. All in all, a rough game, but proves that when not at full attention, the games will be extremely tough.

Do you stream? I would like to see your playstyle. I just can't see how you are struggling that bad with the green set. I can probably give you some tips if I see what you are doing wrong. I have an idea even though you say your not holding on to the ball when you are passing. I know you are missing reads and staying locked in on your first read the whole time and that's why you are taking sacks. I'm pretty sure you are making zero impact with the player you are controlling and you are using a bad defensive scheme. I need to see. It's the only way I can help you get better or just adjust the sliders more in your favor.
Here's how I struggle...I get sacked a lot, my defenders get beaten when playing man, the CPU finds the holes when playing zone, several times per game a DL or LB gets to the CPU QB only to see him throw them off and then complete a pass, my defenders can't get off blocks about 1/2 the time when playing the run, my CB's often get pancaked when playing the run on the perimeter.
Do you stream? Maybe I could watch you play and get some ideas.
I just played half a season with the green set and went 1-7. Offensively I feel like the sliders are spot on, but I can't stop the CPU on defense, particularly against the pass. The CPU QB's on average complete 90% of passes. I played one game where Ryan Fitzpatrick went 21/21 ~350 yards and 4 TD's lol. Granted I'm playing as the Raiders, but still.
Do you have any tips for getting better at defense? It seems like no matter what play I pick, or however I adjust my coverage, I always get thrashed.

For now lower the CPUs catching down to 40. Lowering the catching helps the coverage out a little bit plus they'll drop a few passes per game.
Man Jarrod I'm playing on your green set and I suck lol can't stop their def at all
Which player are you controlling? I get shredded also and I usually play the DT and get high cpu pass completion. Jarodd recommended I play the safety to help plug up the post routes from the TE and slot receivers.
